Coon Creek Hunt Club
Illinois Pheasant Hunting and Clay Target Shooting in Northern Illinois
Spring 2008 Update
After one of the longest
winters in Northern Illinois history it appears that spring is finally
here. With the warm temperatures and green grass also comes the end of
the 2007/2008 upland hunting season here at Coon Creek Hunt Club. We
want to personally thank all of our members and we hope you all enjoyed
your hunting at Coon Creek this past year. We are already looking
forward to getting the fields replanted this spring and enjoying
another great season of hunting come fall.
Membership
renewals for this fall have been sent out this week so keep your eyes
open for them. If for whatever reason you don't receive yours in the
next week please contact our office. Included with your membership
renewal are some changes for this upcoming season as well. We plan on
opening the 2008/2009 hunting season early this year, sometime in
September, to allow members to extend their hunting seasons and
advantage of the great weather and field conditions early in the year.
For
those of you who are interested in sporting clays, we will be starting
the first week in June every Wednesday evening from 4 pm until dusk.
There is no need to call ahead to make reservations and we have steel
shot on hand for those of you who need it. Members and non-members are
welcome to come enjoy the great weather and take advantage of the club
during the off-season months. Also, we will have chukars available for
anyone who is interested in dog training. Please call the club to
check availability and schedule time to come out if you are interested.
We
hope you all have a great summer and if anyone has any questions about
the club or your membership please feel free to call the office at
847-961-5193 or send us an e-mail at info@cooncreekhuntclub.com.
